TEQUILA DAME MAS

Dame Mas is an ultra premium tequila designed for the most sophisticated palates. It is handmade with pesticide-free agaves grown to maturity (eight years). We slow cook the pinas in a brick oven, then naturally ferment and distill the juice.

The Process

Tequila Dame Mas is produced in the heart of Tequila, Jalisco. The agaves that are utilized for the making of this tequila are from the Valles zone. With an altitude of 1000-1200 meters above sea level and directly harvested at the age of 8 year. This gives the highest concentration of sugar levels in the agave. Very traditional, almost ancestral one might say. Brick ovens are used for 48 hours for the agave concoction. It then extracts the juices 60%with a roller mill called, “Tahona” and the rest with other mills. Then comes the fermentation process when the sugars turn into diverse alcohols during 3-5 days, depending on the climate. It is then submitted to be double distilled in copper stills. In the case of the reposado, it is aged 11 months and the Extra Anejo is 5 years in French White Oak barrels, previously used to age Cognac and lastly the double distilled. This is how the distinct flavor of our tequila is perfectly balanced in notes and flavor.

The Licoreria is a ceramic design of our bottle Tequila Dame Mas. It is very eye-catching. It’s beautiful artisanal design is made and hand painted by women in workshops located in the state of Mexico and Jalisco. Each bottle is unique and takes 11 days for the entire process. From making the bottle, decorating, hand painting, and last but not least, putting them in the oven and applying the label. Since the start of this project of Tequila Dame, I have thought about a ceramic bottle for 2 reasons. First, there was not too much budget to purchase a massive glass bottle production. Second was that the high quality of tequila we wanted to present could only be presented by the finest ceramic.
Tequila Dame Mas is very well accepted and loved by many Americans and has gained its place in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
