FLAVORTOWN SPIKED

A frequent haunt of late for Guy Fieri’s red convertible isn’t a diner, a drive-in, or a dive, but rather Stratford, Connecticut-based Two Roads Brewing. The Food Network star and the regional craft brewery have teamed up to launch Flavortown Spiked Fruit Punch, a 6% ABV flavored malt beverage (FMB). It “likens back to a Hawaiian Punch for all intents and purposes,” Two Roads co-founder, president and CEO Brad Hittle told Brewbound.

VARIETY PACK

Each new Flavortown Spiked offering checks in at 6% ABV and features “real fruit juices, better ingredients and bold flavors,” according to a press release. Fiddy Fiddy and Tangerine-N-T are brewed with a blend of Kenyan and Chilean teas.

The can 8-pack format is popular for spirits-based, ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktails, but isn’t as widely used in the beer category, giving Flavortown Spiked a point of differentiation at retail.
